Sir Alex Ferguson against Wayne Rooney !!!

Fergie blames adviser for the Rooney saga

Sir Alex Ferguson somehow managed to encourage Wayne Rooney to sign a new long-term deal, however the boss believes it was the player's adviser who had triggered all the commotion from the start.

Ferguson, whose own child Jason employed to become an representative, confirms that brokers are one of several main troubles in soccer today.

"It is obviously tough at United. There are often issues dealing with.

"When your top players arrive towards the end of their agreements you need to do something to obtain them a fresh one. All of them are exactly the same.

"You have to deal with brokers of this world today which can be tough. The players aren't problem. There is absolutely no trouble with players. Many brokers are difficult."

Fergie definitely has a position right here, but the the majority of important factor is that he persuaded Rooney to stay even difficult at some point it appeared as though the player would not feature for Manchester United once more.

Harry Redknapp rules out a switch for Aston Villa superstar

Harry Redknapp has declined rumours connecting him with a move for Ashley Young after Gerard Houllier suggested Spurs were tapping up the player.
The Tottenham employer joked when he was charged by Gerard Houllier for tapping up Ashley Young.

"I've been round his home maybe once or twice, we have done the deal. He (Houllier) for no reason reported tapping up, did he? We've under no circumstances made an enquiry for him, no, under no circumstances. There's nothing there."

"I'm strong in those positions. I have Aaron Lennon, Gareth Bale, Nico Kranjcar on the left. I cannot get Nico Kranjcar on and he is a fantastic player.

"It's hard enough as it is when you have an effective team because it's a juggling act at all times. Exactly what am I going to do with another left-winger, give myself one more headache?"

Right after Harry Redknapp refused interest in the Villa winger, it's nearly sure that Ashley Young will probably sign a new offer, while I wouldn't be shocked if he do abandon the team right at the end of the season, as there are still quite a couple of potential sui tors left even with Tottenham out of the picture.

Sir Trevor Brooking lines up an Englishman to substitute Capello

England FA's head of soccer improvement, Sir Trevor Brooking, suggests the country's crew chiefs wish an Englishman to take the place of Fabio Capello.

To the pleasure of all England followers, Sir Trevor Brooking has eliminated Steve McClaren from the national team post.

"Steve had a really difficult time and in years to come might be seemed on as the great age for the job again.

"However 2012 would be too early for him to return. He himself wants to obtain more experience."

Nevertheless, he admitted an English coach is likely to succeed Fabio Capello.

"Preferably we would still want an English trainer, but it's all about availability.

"There is an argument telling if we can't hire an English coach for our national team, why would big teams a ppoint English coaches?

"Longer-term, we would like to move forward and appoint English trainers not just once but on a regular basis."

Sir Trevor Brooking definitely has a position here, even though I don't see too many English trainers in a position of leading the Three Lions, at least for the time being.
